Update: Hermaphrodite James or Victoria Carmen White

An arrest was made in the death of hermaphrodite Victoria Carmen White. The Acting Prosecutor assigned to the case has stated that 25 year old Marquise Foster of North Plainfield has surrendered to police officials on Saturday. Apparently, Victoria and Marquise met through a social networking site and decided to meet offline at a local bar. The meeting was extended to Victoria's apartment where police later discovered her (or his) body. Marquise Foster is currently behind bars and bail has been set for 1 million dollars.

The Hermaphrodite: Stephen Favors or Sidney Starr

Recently stumbled upon a article entitled, "Are Tranny Groupies Hip Hop Latest Trend" and it seems as if the article is based on Sidney Star's relationship with the rapper Chingy. In the past Chingy has been linked to many hermaphrodites, however their booking agent didn't reveal the talents gender. The call had requested female dancers, the selected agency sent female dancers but didn't reveal that the female in question was born as a male. It seems as if this has become the latest trend in Hip Hop and Hollywood, as agents seek out additional acts for their clients.

Stephen Favors was born a male and states openly on his (of her) youtube account that he was indeed born as a hermaphrodite.

London-based photographer Paola de Grenet spent some time with the girls going through the process. She captured them prostituting themselves on the street to afford the hefty operations, waiting for clients in brothels, and injecting themselves with hormones.

The Hermaphrodite: David Buechner or Sara Davis Buechner

David Buechner was born and raised as a boy, although he did not identify with being a boy. His parents never discussed his gender status and David sat idle as he felt more inbetween and confused. At age 17, he attended the prestigious Julliard School in New York City and became a successfull pianist. After coming to terms with his gender, David decided to transition into a female. In 1998, he traveled Bangkok to undergo the gender reassignment surgery and received the required shots of hormone injections. Following his trip to Bangkok, David states that he, "lost all the privileges of the straight, male, white world..." due to his decision to become Sara Davis Buechner.
