The Hermaphrodite: Alexandra Svobodova or Martin Sloboda

In the rural town of Bechyne in the Czech Republic, a 30 year old hermaphrodite name Martin Sloboda was arrested early this week for illegally posing as a gynecologist, providing medical services and writing prescribtions to more than a dozen women. The Daily News reports that Martin has a long criminal past and if convicted, s/he faces up to five years in jail.

The Hermaphrodite: Jack or Jackie Green

Shortly after he hit puberty (age 16), Jack became the youngest to undergo a sex change operation in the UK. At age 18, Jack has transitioned into Jackie Green and will become a beauty pageant contestant for this year's Miss England competition -- the Sun reports.

You end up with a smaller phallus than with the phalloplasty, but it's fully functional, it gets erect, and the sensation is all there...the surgery I want to have, I'd like to have the testicular implants and all of that, and I'd like to be able to urinate through it...I mean, it's not that big a deal to sit down, but some of the toilet seats in men's rooms are disgusting. Probably $25,000, maybe $45,000, I really don't know." -- The hermaphrodite Chaz Bono (Chastity Bono) tells a Rolling Stone profile that he's preparing to undergo penile reconstruction surgery after he obtains enough funds to the cover cost. Chaz also shares that he's willing to travel overseas to spend less on the surgical procedure.
