I've also read book written by a hermaphrodite or through a person who wrote on the biography of a hermaphrodite. The stories always revealed that the persons parents were first or second cousins; hence their genetic condition or genetic disorder.

Cousins marrying cousins (1st,2nd 3rd..) or other relatives and having children. It has happened in my family and most of the time, the pregnant woman isn't honest with her doctor. She tells a fib to prevent legal actions from happening. After the child is born (with defects) it's off to the government offices for some sort of financial support.
Please keep in mind that the child carries the genetic trait. If the child can have children, the genetic trait splits.
Transexuals/transgenders do not need to have any syndrome related to the genes. Often they are physically and genetically 100% their birth sex, but MENTALLY, feel they are a different sex. Intersex refers to these genetic conditions you name, where a person has some form of genetalia or genes of both sexes. These are not interchangeable and naming a bunch of these gene disorders does NOT put trans-people in that group!

How is that demeaning or calling them "monsters"? Now "intersex" is the word du jour? Whatever. As I've always maintained, some people LOOK to be offended. If you try hard enough, you can twist almost anything into an offensive term, so get your undies out of their twist and STFU.
