For years, people have questioned the gender status of Nicole Mitchell and the sexual orientation of Eddie Murphy. When these two agreed to date, many wondered if the British model, "Nicole Mitchell" was born as a transvestite. In March 1993, People Magazine featured an article highlighting the relationship of Nicole and Eddie Murphy. The duo was photographed leaving a well known "gay" club in Los Angeles, CA.



May 1997: At around 4:45am, Eddie Murphy picks up pre-op transsexual prostitute Shalomar (aka Atisone Kenneth Seiuli) on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. Unfortunately, this happens to be inside a “prostitution abatement zone” designated by the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department. Deputies pull over Murphy’s Toyota Land Cruiser, arrest his passenger for outstanding warrants, and release the celebrity.

May 1997: The Globe runs the story “Eddie Murphy’s Sick Obsession With Drag Queens!” with the subhead “H’wood Stunned by Superstar’s Secret Double Life as Cops Catch Him With Transsexual Hooker.”

May 1997: Eddie Murphy files $5 million libel suits against the National Enquirer and The Globe.



July 1997: Eddie Murphy drops his lawsuit against the National Enquirer, and agrees to reimburse the tabloid for its legal fees. Murphy’s lawyer also claims to have previously settled with The Globe.

June 1997: In the Gay & Lesbian Times Nicole Ramirez Murray declares: “For well over a decade, it has been known among the drag queen and transsexual underground that movie star and comedian Eddie Murphy dated numerous drag queens. One San Diego native, Summer St. Cerely (aka Alfie) has already sold her story to The Globe and appeared on many talk shows. Another local San Diego queen who still lives here and had an affair with Murphy is the ever-sexy and beautiful blonde bombshell Evelyn Thomas (Queen of Queens III and a former Miss Gay San Diego titleholder), who told me that she remembers that Murphy’s “private part” curved like a banana! Another gorgeous drag queen, Mercedes Alexander… has also been splattered all over the press for her affair with Murphy… What makes this so outrageous and Eddie Murphy such a hypocritical asshole has been his years of anti-gay jokes and vicious attacks on our community earlier in his career. Yes, Eddie, every dog has its day and you deserve all that you’re getting.”

To squash all "gay" rumors, Eddie left the states and began "secretly" dating "Scary Spice" from the UK group Spice Girls. Mel felt comfortable enough to engage in sexual activities with Eddie Murphy without the use of a condom. As a result, Mel became pregant with Eddie's child. Eddie Murphy broke up with "Mel" on National Television and claimed that the child wasn't his. A few months later, Mel gave birth to Eddie's daughter and a paternity test proved that Eddie was the father. This is Mel's second child, and Eddie's eighth, yes, his eighth child. The star has five children with his ex-wife Nicole, a son with Tamara Hood and another son with Paulette McNeely.

Apparently, Eddie has a history of having children in Wedlock, it has been reported that, he was once hit with paternity suits; from ex-girlfriends Nicolle Rader, Paulette McNeely and Tamara Hood; simultaneously. This took place in 1993, when his "girlfriend" Nicole Mitchell was pregnant with their first child.

In 2005, the internet was at a buzz as photographers caught Johnny Gill and Eddie Murphy leaving a popular gay club in California. It was also reported that Johnny Gill was living in a guest house on one of Eddie properties.

To squash these "gay" rumors, Eddie began dated "Tracie Edmonds" secretly and the duo married in January 2008. Two weeks later, these two seperated and it was revealed that the ceremony wasn't legally binded.

In January 2009, during the weekend of President Obama's Inauguration, Eddie Murphy and Johnny Gill partied at club Bank in Vegas.


To date, Eddie Murphy is still strolling the strips of Vegas for new prospects, while Nicole Mitchell dates Michael Strahan, who oddly resembles Eddie Murphy's parents, "Lillian Lynch and Vernon Murphy". As Nicole age, it's quite obvious that she wasn't born as a "she".
