Secret Intersex

It is one of the few medical taboos left. It is also one of the most distressing. There are a clutch of medical disorders which leave their victims sexually ambiguous, with the physical features of both male and female. Every year around in 1 in 3000 babies are born hermaphrodite or ‘intersex'. Although intersexuality has long been shrouded in secrecy this series tells the extraordinary and deeply moving stories of five people born between sexes.

"Every year around in 1 in 3000 babies are born hermaphrodite or ‘intersex'."

As I comb through the internet searching for the number of children birthed through incest, I stumbled upon these stats. This is the only site that offered an estimate in today's population. This statement also serves as a confirmation that 1 in 3000 babies were born through incest. Now, take a look the population of those currently labeled as gay and or lesbian, it's equivalent to the confirmation, as stated above.

  2. It's the truth and to be honest with you, it's more like 1 in 300 babies are born "hermaphrodites".

This isn't misinformation. The number of children born as a hermaphrodite is actually 1 in every 5. Most parents are often ashamed and request that their child's birth is not included into any surveys or scientific studies. On the other hand, some parents will accept their child as is and will work with doctors to ensure that their child is nursed back to the best available health option presented.
