Transgender actress CANDIS CAYNE has applauded CHASTITY BONO's decision to go public with her plans to become a man.
A publicist for Cher's daughter recently confirmed reports longtime lesbian Bono was undergoing gender reassignment treatment - and Dirty Sexy Money star Cayne is thrilled to hear the news.
The actress tells In Touch magazine, "I commend Chaz for his brave journey, for being such a public figure and owning his identity."
Cayne underwent her own gender change in her early 20s.

No one is asking "Cher" what happened to your so-called daughter? Why was she "born" that way.
