"I was born Holly Casey and my birth date is March 23, 1961," Giuliani said.

Giuliani was the youngest of four children, one of three girls born into a conservative catholic family in Ohio.

Growing up in the 1960's, Giuliani, then Holly Casey, tried to enjoy the things that little girls were supposed to enjoy. But it was all just a show.

"It just gets to a point where it's like acting," said Giuliani. "As you get along in life, you just get tired of that."

Giuliani said he never felt any connection to the female sex as a young girl, instead Giuliani says he was the happiest when others thought he was a boy.

"I was defiantly happier that way, it felt right, it felt comfortable," Giuliani said.

When Holly Casey hit puberty, accepting her body got even tougher.

"It was like the final blow, I could no longer deny that I was a girl," said Giuliani.

Now, after 48 years of "living a lie", Holly Casey is becoming the man she's always wanted to be.
