Talk show host Oprah Winfrey appears on latest cover of Newsweek with the headline "Crazy Talk: Oprah, Wacky Cures & You. There's a lengthy story that pulls several of Oprah's recent "guests" and scrutinize the contentious health advice that they gave on the show. This advice was given without adequate information or representation from the opposite side.
Oprah Winfrey is the new "Requiem for a Dream" and her fans are addicted. They are addicted to her television show as well as her Twitter page.
Personally speaking, Oprah lost me as a viewer many years ago. Most recent, I was at a loss for words when she had everyone across the globe running out to pick up free chicken from "KFC", during the spread of the "Swine Flu". It was bad timing and truly unprofessional. If you don't understand the meaning behind, "Requiem for a Dream", go rent the movie!
The June 8 issue of Newsweek finds that Oprah Winfrey promotes health advice on her show that is often "questionable" and "sometimes dangerous."

Oprah was born with many deformities. The doctors has to stich two of her toes together for them to appear as normal.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that I appear to making some informed and rational comments on this blog - perhaps you can present some of your 'research' as someone who is a practising urologist as well as being a professor in biological science, I know what I am talking about when it comes to what are termed proper intersex/DOSD conditions - and things like having six toes (whilst disorders of fetal development) are not related to intersex, transex, or sexuality-based concepts.
I read this issue of Newsweek. I'm surprised you all didn't report about the fact that she gives herself ESTROGEN SHOTS! Estrogen shots in the VAGINA!!! Um, WHY? She said herself she does not have hot flashes, but wanted to appear "youthful"
