Miss Hermaphrodite 2009: Sorrawee Nattee

The winner of the 2009 Miss Tiffany contest has been awarded to Mr. Sorrawee Nattee of the "Simon" culture within Thailand. Mr. Sorrawee was born "male" and later transitioned into a female. This beauty contest has been running for 12 years, with all contestants being born as a hermaprodite. In Thailand hermaphrodites are considered a third gender and they were given the Thai name 'Katoey' or 'Ladyboy".
