I mean, they didn't spend this much energy trying to replace the N-word!

When oxygen reaches blood it gives off a sort of red that many argue is either violet or blue or combo of both---it depends on the "eye". Good question! However, saying that someone who is gay is a hermaphrodite is ridiculous. Hermaphroditism is a physical condition (ie being born with either messed up chromosomes or dual/ambiguous sex organs. Chasitity was born as a hermaphrodite (intersex). Her genitals were stuck in-between. As soon as she hit puberty her appearance was really stuck in between that of a male and female. She didn't know how to identify with it so she called her lesbain because she still felt like a girl (at that point in her life). Now that she tried living life as a female. It became stressful because everytime she took off her clothes she saw two genitials and she alwasy felt ugly and confused.
Her vagina doesn't work but her penis does.
You should try picking up a book and reading it. They often use terms such as epicene or androgynous to describe a hermaphrodite statue, picture or person.
