The daughter of legedary singing duo Sonny and Cher, is no longer Chastity.
TMZ reports that Bono, an author and musician, is changing her gender from female to male -- and, as a transgender male, is now Chaz.

The process began shortly after Bono's 40th birthday.
"Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity," Bono's publicist, Howard Bragman, told TMZ.
Chastity revealed when she appeared on TV with her parents - she preferred to dress like her father"He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones," Bragman said. "It is Chaz's hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his 'coming out' did nearly 20 years ago."

i knew something was up with Cher and Sonny. They were so strange and Cher was another artist who didn't know how to dress like a lady. Instead she wore everything see through and drag queen-ish (as the mod would say).

I didn't know that Sonny and Cher were related. Chasity always looked like a boy to me. Also I find it very strange the way Sonny died in that skiing accident. He and that guy that was married to the Kennedy lady, died the same way. Remember the one that was caught messing around with the baby sitter. (can't remember his name.)
