In 1942, "The Dandridge Sisters" disbanded. Ten Years later "Etta Wilson" emerged as "Etta Jones" but Etta "James" wasn't having it and i heard they always fought for the right to use this "stage name". Etta Jones had a daughter and like Dorothy Dandridge, she didn't allow the media to ask questions about her daughter. The public knew when she was born and the day that she died but there's no in-between information to share. It has been reported that Etta "Jones" has a grand-daughter. In October 2001, Etta Jones died of Cancer, She was 72.

ETTA JONES real name was suppose to be ETTA WILSON, THEN IT WAS CHANGED TO ETTA JONES.
