So she feels like a female on the inside? Can she have children?
ReplyDeleteMany genetic women can't have children, either, due to various medical problems. Does that make them any less a woman?
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't make them less of a women but maybe it was something that their mother ate or drank when she was pregnant (a steak marinated in liquor or orange and champagne mixed).
ReplyDeleteWe are addressing the issue of hermaphrodites and their spin off conditions. Some can have children (pregnant hermaphrodite man) and some can't have children (the ones born without a uterus etc).
@5:35----So then I guess its safe to say that this had their gender reassignment surgery! And this transgendered being looks like several female models we see in print magazines and on the runways---Smh. He/She will blend right into the madness perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThere is a distinct difference between a hermaphrodite and a transsexual. Hermaphrodites are intersexed-they have secondary sex characteristics that are a blend of both sexes (which sometimes results in ambiguous genitalia). This is from birth, and sometimes the birthing doctor will put the baby into surgery change the sex organs to match one or the other, but not always.
ReplyDeleteTranssexuals are people who were born into one sex, and feel that they identify more with the opposite sex, and undergo hormone therapy and surgery to change their body to match their gender identity. Lea T. is a transsexual. Not a hermaphrodite.
Doctors will not perform a sex change on a person born 100% male or 100% female.
ReplyDeleteLea T was born as a hermaphrodite. She (or he) was born with a ambiguous genitalia. This is the reason why Lea T decided to have a sex change operation.
That is completely false.
DeleteLea T. was born a male and decided that she wanted to be female.
Pseudohermaphroditism, or pseudo-hermaphroditism, is the condition in which an organism is born with secondary sex characteristics[1] or a phenotype[2] that is different from what would be expected on the basis of the gonadal tissue (ovary or testis).
ReplyDeleteIn some cases, the external sex organs look intermediate between the typical clitoris or penis. In other cases, the external sex organs have an appearance that does not look intermediate, but rather has the appearance that would be expected to be seen with the "opposite" gonadal tissue. Because of this, pseudohermaphroditism is sometimes not identified until puberty. It is possible for the condition to be undetected until adulthood.[3]
The term "male pseudohermaphrodite" is used when a testis is present, and the term "female pseudohermaphrodite" is used when an ovary is present.[4] The term "true" hermaphrodite is reserved for the very rare cases where both ovarian and testicular tissue is present. (Whether or not that term would be appropriate when ovotestes are found, or only when distinct ovaries and testes are found, is not well defined.)

ReplyDelete1. hermaphroditism.
2. pseudohermaphroditism.
3. androgyny.intersex´ual
You can look at that picture and tell that s/he was born with both male and female characteristics. Look at it's breast and see for urself, because if ur gonna get breast implants, why get them small ass tidays!
ReplyDeleteWrong. Firstly, not everyone wants DDs, and secondly, you have no clue what you are talking about. She has breasts because of hormone therapy, which separates transvestites from transsexuals.
DeleteThe lack of transgender knowledge here is very unfortunate.
And your lack of understanding of hermaphroditism is appalling. About five years ago the State of South Carolina ordered gender reassignment on an eighteen month old childe born with both male and female genitalia (both a penis and a vagina). This procedure was irreversible. Despite the male reassignment, the child has always identified as a female. This is the reason it's recommended that children born with this condition not have the operation until they have established a sexual identity.
